RECURSOS
Are you a student, parent, or part of school staff? This section is for you.
SafeOregon is a program available for Oregon students in public and private schools from pre-
kindergarten through twelfth grade. It allows students and the public to anonymously report or share
confidential information about threats or potential threats to student safety.
What can you report?
SafeOregon receives tips focused on what makes students feel unsafe, including:
- Safety threats
- Violence or threats of violence
- Fights
- Drugs, alcohol, or weapons on campus
- Bullying, harassment, or intimidation
- Cyberbullying
- Friends or peers discussing self-harm or suicide
The goal of SafeOregon:
- The School Safety Tip Line aims to intervene at the earliest possible point in a young person’s life when they are struggling. By offering support and intervention promptly, the goal is to prevent situations from escalating into tragedies.
